Rattle in drivers side headliner-help!

I have this constant rattle in the driver's side headliner. When you push your hand on the headliner it goes away. Solutions?

The car is in my dealerships service department getting the headliner rattle fixed.(Hopefully)

It is fixed. I was over at service while they had the headliner out. There is a cable that runs right over the drivers head that goes from the front of the car to the back of the car. He tapped on the cable and it made the noise. The tech even said it was annoying as hell. He is insulating the cable. Now we know!!!

I have this issue, had a field engineer drive the car, pointed the noise out to him, and yet I got the car back with "could not duplicate." It's amazing the difference in response one owner gets versus another for the same problem.

It is a common problem. And simple to fix. Go back to the dealer and tell them to remove the headliner. It will then be very obvious. Good luck.
