paddleboard on roof?

I am debating buying a paddleboard as renting one is getting old. Any siggestions on how to transport it with a fr-s? I have not seen any roof mount options.

If you can't get it in the back...

Go to True Value hardware and buy some velcor strips.

Use that to prevent the board from scratching the top.

No need for any strips on the board.

You will still need a rope or bunge cord to hold it down.

Can't lay down the seats and stick it in the trunk?
Is this a surf board?

Its like a surf board but bigger. The ones I am eyeballing are around 10.6 feet long.

I own a paddle board and have thought about it since I'm considering buying a BRZ. My plan was to use these foam blocks and straps, which I currently use on my Honda Accord sedan:

...and then tie the front and back of the paddle board to front and back tow hooks on the car for extra stability, the way this person did:

Have you considered getting an inflatable SUP?
I got one on Amazon for about $250 and it works great. It comes with a pump, a kayak seat, SUP paddle, kayak paddle and a bag to store it all in. Fits in the back of the FR-S no problem. I'm a little lazy so rather than pump it up with the hand pump, I got an 11 gallon air can and fill it with 125 psi. Inflates the SUP no sweat and also fits in the back of the car.

Whoops!
I just realized this was posted 4 years ago.
So never mind. I'm sure you either figured it out or moved on by now.

This is the one I got. They raised the price a bit but it's still worth it.
