Transmission tunnel a little warm?

So I went out for a drive tonight, and I noticed the transmission tunnel seemed hotter than it should be. Like, when I put my leg against it, it was noticable warmer than my leg. I have a catted frontpipe and catback exhaust, if they might be the cause of the possible problem. What should I do exactly? What should I check for?

This is my first "modded" car and I might be a little scared for no reason other than inexperience.

Typical for a car that has minimum insulation.
