2013 FR-S with 2014 Head Unit

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I just purchased an FR-S two weeks ago. It came with the 2014 head unit installed. The dealership didn't seem to have a clue about it while I was asking about adding the bespoke add-on. Anyone else have this issue?

The dealer should give you a separate instruction booklet for the new unit. I did get one with mine.

Mine also came with a booklet. So much nicer than the previous HU it first came with

To add the Bespoke module I believe it's an extra $1200 on top of what you paid for the new 14 base unit (should have been $239 I believe on the MY13).

The new head unit is the standard install for the 2014 Scions. I just got my 2013 FR-S, and it had the old Bespoke HU installed. I worked out a deal to get them to swap it for the new one for free.

I had a chance to play with both before the switch, and the new one is way better.

But to help you out, the NAV module you need is separate and cost a pretty penny.
One of the guys at the dealership got it for me at the employee price (wholesale + 10%) and even then, it cost me $930 including the sales tax ($845 without).

The part number for the "proper" module is: PT296-00140

That will give you bespoke, and NAV.

Here is a good write-up about the HU (he has the entune installed, I believe)
