excellent condition, comes with original box, owners manual, setup guide, travel case, window mount with extra suction cups.


There are several reasons I went with this over the V1. One being this unit held the world record for the longest distance pickup of radar - nearly 12 miles away, until the Escort Redline came out (14 miles). Also, I went with the STI Magnum for those states I drive through that radar detectors are illegal; cops will use radar detector detectors, and the STI Magnum is invisible to these detectors.

This is also compatible with the Escort LIVE system that picks up from other peoples radar detectors and alerts you. Escort LIVE is a separate system that you have to sign up for though, and need a smartphone. This system also plugs right into the Escort Laser Jamming System if you have one or want to purchase one in the future.

The STi comes with BELTRONICS AutoMute feature, which automatically reduces the volume level during an alert. Or, simply press the large front-mounted Mute button on the detector or SmartPlug (included) during an alert to instantly quiet the audio.

The STi also comes with City Mode Filtering. Choose from two levels of filters, including City Standard and City NoX for quiet operation in and around town.

The STi has four levels of brightness, including an auto mode which automatically changes the brightness based on the ambient light in the vehicle. You can also select full dark mode and use the power-on and alert indicators on the SmartPlug for complete stealth operation.
