Smoked Clear sidmarker Questiong Tampa/St. Pete area
 

Sorry if this question was answered before but couldn't find anything in the search in this area. I am going to install some JDM smoked side-markers on my BRZ, was wondering if anyone who has swapped their OEM side-markers with the JDM ones with white lights have had any issue with Law enforcement. I've checked the state laws and everything and say they have to be amber but in my experience with the law they only enforce the laws that make them the most profit to them.

I doubt you would have a problem with white. If you had something ridiculous like blue or green, then you would definitely get pulled over. But white, I wouldn't worry about it.

PS, there is a meet this Tuesday at 7pm at the Sonic on Dale Mabry in Tampa ;)

I got clear with amber lights. You won't necessarily get pulled over for it, but if you get pulled over for something else, they can tack on the non conforming lights onto your speeding ticket. That's why I chose to go amber, but it's up to you. Good luck

I went with amber LEDs in mine. They look great and no issues with police.

So worked out in the end.

I plastidipped mine on my TDI like a year ago and havnt had a problem yet
