Free front plate relocation

I noticed some dealers tend to put the front license plate fixture so that over time both the screws and plastic edge of the fixture dig into your paint. Like so.

If you live in a communist state that demands you to fix a front license plate to the front of your car, and dont like the tow hook remedy and aren't badass enough to go with out one, i figured out another option that happens to be free. Simply disassemble the plate and the plate fixture and flip the existing fixture so its upside down. Like so.

The plate will be slightly angled at the ground but it is fixed, not scratching your paint and probably legal. (defiantly more legal than not having one)

Enjoy.

Can we see what the finished product looks like from the front?

I live in a place where a front plate is a must and I want to see that too! Plus, if I remove that black bracket will there be holes in the bumper?

That would be cool since I just got my car...

There are only supposed to be two holes in the black mesh part of the front bumper. They are small and blend in to the mesh. So if u decide to go plate-less it looks real clean. I have seen cars on the lot where the top screws dug in to the bumper so far that it looked like holes in the painted part of the bumper. If you flip it upside down you use the only two holes in the bumper to re-attach the plate mount.
