How much to install header/OP/down pipe?
Hello fellow FRS/BRZ enthusiasts,
I will be getting a headers/ overpipe and downpipe in the near future. I will be getting a car back exhaust down the road when I have more funds. Just figured that this exhaust combo will give me way more bang for my buck in regards to performance. I dont really know how to install these parts nor how much the install would cost me at a shop. Also, I dont have a garage as I live in an apartment in Boston Ma. Anyone care to tell me how much the installation of these 3 exhaust parts (not cat back.. just header/op/dp would/should cost me? thanks |
If you take it to a shop you could have it done in about 2 labor hours. In reality it would take them about 45 minutes, but they will take their time with the undershields and charge you for their laziness.
Most reputable shops charge between 75-100 per hour |
thanks for the info

A woman under a car can always be a great bonding experience. Here's my wife installing the headers she bought me as a gift. |
