What percent of tint do you have on your car?
Just curious, what percentage is your tint that you guys have on your cars? Do you follow your state's tinting laws and limits or risk it? If you risk it, do you ever get those pesky fix it tickets often?
Luckily where I live, the cops don't really care for tint. They have better things to do than crack on people for dark tint. I'm running 5% on my WRB BRZ and it's so dark at night but I love it haha. I have privacy on the road unlike when I had 35%. Plus, it could be a bit safer since robbers can't see the inside as much. |
im running 20% on the front and 5 on the rear. looks damn good. Had 3 percent before to dark lol

I'm running 25% all around looks clean would have went a little darker but I'm already beyond the legal limit here (35% all around)

I run a llumar ctx 35% all the way around on mine. The nice thing about it is that even though it's the same shade front to back, the fronts always look lighter because of the light from the windshield. Haven't gotten pulled over once and cops are notorious around here for being picky.

20% all around. Dealership threw it in for free and installed prior to delivery. :)

20% all around. wish I would have done 10 all around though tbh.

I'm doing a 30 % all the way around. IL law is 35 % but whats 5 % .

35% - NY is like 75% or something ridiculous like that. No fix it tickets here either, they just ding you a hundred bucks a window. It's a secondary offense though as far as I know, so I don't give them a reason to pull me over and that's that.

The law here is absolutely no tint on front windows but I've driven by cops around and haven't been pulled over so I don't think it's something the cops here are anal about. 20% is perfect IMO because you don't lose much visibility from the inside, even though there are times when it's a LITTLE annoying at night to see out the sides, but during the day it's perfect. I can't be seen from the outside even in broad day light. |
