You mean the triangle light with sides on the bottom center? Check this out: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9961

the back up light sockets dont seem to want to come off. and he shows the light without removing the two 10mm sockets on top or the pushpins. another video i saw removed the pushpins and the 10 mm sockets to take out the light.

I seem to recall the sockets twisting and coming right off when I switched to LED bulbs.

I'm not trying to get inside the light. Just trying to take the entire light out to cover it with the laminx. Pretty sure I figured it out but I'll keep you guys posted.

Not sure on how to remove it but I know a friend who just blacked out that part with it being there and not removed, is it that hard?

Two bolts two push pins and then the tab on the bottom needs to be angled up to allow the whole assembly to come off the bumper.

I was thinking about doing this as well, post pics when it's done! Also let me know what you think the light reduction is. I would like to still be able to see where I'm going. Thanks!
