If you had $2000 to spend what would you buy for your FR-S/BRZ

counting my chickens before they hatch of course but I don't think ill be modding anymore until my tax return next year, but should be plenty to have fun with when the time comes. If you guys had $2000 to spend on your car today what would you get?

Archavious 09-06-2013 08:52 AM

If you're still getting a tax return you shouldn't be spending money on car mods...

Mad1723 09-06-2013 08:56 AM

Pay off a chunk to lower the monthly payment :)

^^Agreed. $2k is enough to get a decent set of wheels. That's what I would do.

BlueDubbinTDI 09-06-2013 09:25 AM

Ide personally buy the Eibach sportlines, $1200 18" wheels and tires, and save just a small amount more for a tune I think

Muaddib 09-06-2013 10:09 AM

Perrin headerback and pocket the rest.

This is just about all you can do and will be your best bet. Its what I did :P

It all depends what you want to do.

Aesthetics, I'd go wheels and Eibach sportlines springs to make it look better. Tint if you have any money left.

Power, I'd do a tune and as much of the exhaust as you can.

Smart, I'd just pay down the loan

WolfpackS2k 09-06-2013 10:21 AM

As much exhaust work as possible, and a tune if there's money left over. The car already handles like a dream so I don't see the point in modifying the suspension unless you absolutely can't stand the wheel gap. Better off eliminating the torque dip, getting more power overall, and improving the engine's exhaust note. Since those are things the car NEEDS IMO.

Sound deadening in the cabin

AUDM black interior trim

JDM kneepads

Proper winter tires for my 16" WRX winter wheels (currently rocking all-seasons)

Would pocket the remaining, maybe get a 30" 2560x1600 LCD if I had to spend it. Car has enough power for me, I don't dislike the wheels. I want to make the interior look as nice as possible because that's where I am when I drive it (I don't ghost ride), and I want to get it quiet because 85 decibel cabin at 65mph is terrible for longer trips.
