This got me again. To me, it brings up the definition of "fast" debate again. People are always saying that they answer "no" to the ol' "is your FR-S/BRZ fast," question. One time on this site, I said I bought an FR-S because I'm trying to go fast, and someone said I bought the wrong car for that. To me, high speed is one thing, and fast is another thing.

Seeing the title of this article (and the other one someone posted about this same event covered on another site) made me think someone set the record for fastest lap time around a famous track or maybe fastest anyone has ever gone from drifting one direction to another. To me, this is the world's most high speed drift. And an FR-S is fast because it can go quickly through a turn. So when people ask me if it's fast, I say yes.

Sorry for the off topicness. Anyway...

So how much of this car is still actually FT 86? I'm guessing with over 1000 HP there's not much left of the original car. For sure not the drivetrain....Which begs the question, how much(or little) does there have to be to still be an 86? The body shell?
This reminds me of the tube framed, aluminum bodied, Chevy motor/transmissioned, aftermarket axled "Jeeps" in the 4 wheel drive magazines....😊
