Sure, it's not the Dart SRT-4 we're already looking forward to, but this 600-horsepower Dodge Dart racecar will help to hold us over.
Dodge developed the all-wheel-drive racer to compete in Global Rallycross. The 2.0-liter I4 makes 600 horsepower and 550-pound feet of torque which goes to all the wheels via a Sedav transmission. They claim it'll hit 60 in 1.9 seconds. Dodge will participate in all seven races of the X Games spinoff starting on May 26 in Charlotte, NC.
The man behind the wheel for Dodge will be 28-year-old Travis Pastrana. Those of you with keen memories will remember Travis competed in Global Rallycross last year in a specially modified car with hand controls having broken his foot/ankle just days before the event. Hopefully this year Travis will keep all of his bones intact and be able to race this car with two hands and two feet.

Joking aside, I was a huge fan of the Neon SRT-4 rally cars (used to have a Neon ACR and had so much fun rallyx-ing it). Looking forward to seeing this car in action.
