Ballin' on a budget - good lookin exhaust on the cheap!

So I ordered one of those rear diffuser things from ebay ($75). After installing it I really like the way it looked, it looks stock and definitely adds some style to the rear. The only problem is the factory exhaust tips. The diffuser makes the already dinky stock tips look even smaller. I am planning on getting aftermarket exhaust in the future, but thats not for a while. I needed a cheap solution to get me by until I get the new exhaust system. Well I found it! I scored some bolt on 3.5in tips at Walmart for $12 a piece!!! They bolted on perfectly and actually look pretty damn good. So all in all I now have a pretty mean lookin' rear end and it only cost me 100 bucks, now that's ballin' on a budget.

Engrave TRD of the walmart exhaust tips and BOOM. More ballin' on a budget.

How long did it take you to install the rear diffuser? Did you need to drill any holes? :threadjacked:

I only had to drill one small hole in the middle. To attach the other bolts I just took out some small plastic grommets and used the hole that is already there from the factory. Even the middle hole I drilled was only through hard plastic, not sheet metal. Whole process took less than an hour. It would have been quicker, but the included instructions were basically useless and I had to figure it out on my own. I think there is actually a DIY on the forum somewhere.
