DIY Trunk light mod with L.E.D. strip
 

Heres a little video I did on how to make a new trunk light using a 29 inch L.E.D. strip. Super easy mod. Ties into wiring for the stock trunk light.
Much brighter and better lighting now, lights up entire trunk!

Thanks. I got a new led strip and redid it today so now all the LEDs are emitting light

You could have just used a bulb side of the plug instead of splicing the factory wiring.

I could have done that but I wanted to solder, heat shrink, and cover all connections with looms and make ot look factory.
I didn't want to just run wires to the bulb terminals that wouldn't look clean and OEM to me.
Splicing the factory wiring is no big deal to me on this mod.
