Perrin Inlet Hose warning for CA residents, should I be worried?

Just got my inlet hose from @genometuning but on the box there's a warning that it's only for racing vehicles if you're in CA. Do I need to worry about anything using this hose? :/

You made me laugh out loud sir.

Seriously speaking you are fine. its more for protection from liability on Perrin's part more than anything.

It's due to not being carb certified....

Aka California sucks

So many people worry about CARB in CA, if you drive normally no cop is going to pop the hood of a brand new car, cops only do this when one is acting like a jackass on the road, and for smog all you should need is one cat or a really good tune.

Sell the car. You're fucked.

I'm running the Perrin intake and inlet hose, along with catless UEL headers and a very loud exhaust. I pulled off a stop sign next to a cop with his window down the other day, and he gave me a thumbs up as he passed me at the next light.

Also, there are only a handful of cops that are even certified to check under your hood. I really wouldn't worry.

the car sounds so much nicer now. makes me want to wait to put my exhaust on , bought too many parts all at once :/ first world problem haha

curious what kinda fee one would get if pulled over and inspected?

If you keep your car clean looking ( not fast n furious /civic) and not crazy loud. You should never have to worry about a ticket. (For parts, speeding is at your own risk)

This all depends on if you drive around like an asshat or not though.
