MD State Inspection
 

Hello all,

Just got a cert used FRS in VA and I need to get MD state inspection done... However, car has 20% tint I think. . . help?

A buddy of mine got a car from PA that had 20% tint and the tint had to be removed to pass inspection. The dealership paid to have it removed and they paid for the inspection though. Maybe talk to the dealer where you got it from to see if they'll help with it. Limit in MD is 35%

Check NASIOC and see if there are any MD state inspectors there who will pass you.

I ended up removing the tint on my M3. MD is crazy strict too. They failed me because I had aftermarket tail lights, little convex portions on my mirrors and a VA inspection sticker the car had prior.

I def checked nasioc already. Getting a lot of remove tint, get inspected, and retint suggestions
Dam I gotta remove the va sticker? That is a bitch.
