Hey all, I've owned my BRZ for about a week and a half now, figure i'll make a thread/journal, even though it'll be a little slow at first....

A little background on me and my cars...

I currently own:
2013 SWP BRZ Limited 6MT (new toy :D )
2004 WRB/Gold WRX STi (was going to trade in, but I'm prob keeping now)
1998 Outback Limited AT (beater/parts hauler)

Subarus that I have owned(not counting the ones above):
2002 WRX MT
1998 Legacy GT MT
1994 Legacy SS MT
1990 Legacy Sedan MT
1986 GL-10 MT

about me:
I work at Wilkins Subaru in Glen Burnie, MD as Lead tech along with one other guy that is pretty damn good, we have cleaned out the bad employees here and are trying to clean up from the mid-2000s terrible rep...

THE BRZ...

Current Mileage: 3105

I took delivery of my BRZ 8/21 with 15 miles, I told them I'm gassing it up and not the lot guys because I know how they drive lol...

While working on rebuilding a buddy's STi engine I decided to steal his wheels for a quick photo

I really like how the BBS's look on there, but I couldn't convince him to sell them to me.... :(



Anyway, fast forward to today I picked up a set of JDM STi V7 goldies and have new 235/40/17 RT-615K's on their way to me right now

Planned Mods:
KONI Yellows
Eibach Pro Kit Springs
various suspension bushings, etc
Adapt the OEM 2014 Forester XT water/oil cooler to the BRZ's FA20

Current Mods:
JDM STi V7 Goldies with 235/40/17 Falken RT-615Ks - at 1024 Miles
Eibach Pro Kit Springs - at 1310 Miles
2014 FXT OEM Oil Cooler Install - at 3105 Miles


I don't plan to do many/any power mods right now, even though it's slow as hell compared to my STi it's way more fun to drive and I feel handling is more important.


I'll update this thread as I do mods/etc, and will try to make an index in this first post, along with keeping the mileage updated

Also received my Eibach Pro Kit springs, but I'm waiting until I get the KONI Yellows to do the install. Should be ordering this Friday.

Installed my Eibach Pro Kit Springs today.

Ended up not being able to order the Koni Yellows last week as I needed the money for something else. Figured what the hell, and threw the springs on.

I like it, it's a subtle drop, exactly what I wanted.

Fitted the 2014 Forester XT OEM Oil Cooler to my engine today :)
