Buddy Club makes one. It's pretty light. That's all I know about it.
Lightest Exhaust, Headers, and Front/Over/Mid Pipes? |
Oh, and the Tanabe Concept G.

Look up FT86Speedfactory.com
You'll see many exhaust systems you can pinpoint which want you want; they also have a youtube page; check them out, it shows plenty of exhaust systems as well to help you get a better feel of what you like. Type FT86Speedfactory on youtube search. |
Tomei Ti!!!! it's a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it

Pretty sure I'm going the 60R route now. |
Yeah, I'm probably going with 60S, although I keep looking at the 80R.... I'm not gonna jump into this one though. Not just yet until some reviews are in. I already have an Invidia N1. I just like single exit exhaust. I could always unbolt one of the N1 mufflers and run a block off plate on one side. I'm also looking at ways to build something to fill in the hole for the "missing" muffler on one side. I thought maybe aluminum. But I'm also thinking lexan and/or kydex. I dunno, we'll see.
Don't forget about the EVS single exit exhaust. That one looks nice as well. |
Yes, if you go single exit, the rear bumper and "diffuser" becomes a parachute. The factory muffler serves as an actual diffuser. I plan on doing my own diffuser too. Hopefully I can come up with something really good and can make some more for other forum members. I've already got a rough design in my head, just need to get out of this damn desert and back home so I can get to work.

I ordered the 80mm already
I will see what going on when i got it and report back |

If you're NA, I'd definitely like to see some before and after dyno charts, if possible, and know what else you're running aspiration and tuning wise. |

I will see if i can get a dyno after the exhaust is installed. for the tuning wise, I will have to wait for better header to come out before getting a tune, so could be long wait. |
Yeah, I don't think intake and exhaust mods yield very much without a tune anyway. Stock headers and a stock tune should definitely be the ultimate determining factor if 80mm is a good idea or not though.
|
I'm going FI soon with the full blown kit. I'm going to use the 80mm Tomei exhaust.
My tuner is going to tune my bone-stock car, and then also tune the car with the Tomei exhaust, just to see the gains from a tune and exhaust only. Then, the full turbo kit will go on. I'll post of the dyno results in a week or 2 when everything comes in. |
