Rear bumper swap for one with rectangular cut outs

Has anyone tried or seen this bumper on a car?

http://www.kaze-speed.com/2013-scion...-urethane.html

I know most of these mods require the cutting of the rear bumper but this one says its direct bolt on. I have email the company and they are standing by the direct bolt on statement.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this or if I will have to be the guinea pig on this.

Thanks for the info

its not a direct bolt on, you have to cut the "diffuser" part of the oem bumper because its molded into the bumper

Has anyone done this modification or a simular one. Im trying to find out if this is something i can do on my own or if i need to take it somewhere.

Isn't that the TRD bumper and/or diffuser?

I did cut mine. At the same time I was cutting I was thinking where I was going to get a bumper if I mess up but I didn't.

Yep, that's a TRD rear replica.

It does require cut out on the original bumper, you "COULD" do a bolt on but the muffler area will look stupid because the original bumper will be showing.

That's why I didn't buy the rear lip, not everyone wants to cut up their brand new car XD, I went with the Modellista rear lip it lines up properly and it matches with the TRD sides

That looks sick. I assume that is the seibon bumper from the looks of it? Did it come with some instructions for what you had to do or was it all up to you to figure out? Just trying to see how big of a mess I am getting myself into with this project.

No instructions it's real easy but scary
