Carfax check...
 

Does anyone have access to carfax? I found a beater pickup truck to get me by until new cars arrive but the deal sounds almost to good to be true.

Lol! The one that i am getting is an older Tacoma Pre-runner SR5 TRD 2WD... Just to make sure I have some DD wheels once landing in the States.

There are ways to get access to a Carfax competitor (autocheck) for free. Use google and it should be pretty easy to figure out.

You used to be able to with Carfax too but they fixed the URL work-around.

I just found out this is a scam. I typed the VIN into google and found the same truck for sell on numerous separate sites. It shows that the time honored saying holds true "if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is"... That was a fun trip, lol... At least I didn't bite.

Be careful out there guys. I may just rent a car until both of mine come in, that is if they arrive later than expected... Here is hoping for early deliveries of my 2014's... This experience has made me appreciate Heuberger Subaru even more. I don't have to worry about any BS with them they are straight forward with their customers.

Thank you very much for the report. I think that the truck is good, I just think so scammer grabbed the information and has reposted it as theirs. This actually happened to me when I was selling my 300ZX TT. Someone grabbed all of my cars pictures and information from my add and were trying to sell it on different sites. Luckily I found out and reported it to the sites affected. I am very happy to be a part of this community. You guys rock! :party0030:

Are you based out of Georgia like the truck? If so I work in north florida and we just got a 2000 black tundra with 40k miles on it last night. (Before you ask I'm not a salesperson I work in IT/everything that has to do with our advertisement lol). I know they put like 11.5 on it.
