Lets talk about clutches

lets talk about clutches. I was wondering if our clutch, considering our transmission and out put shaft would carry other part numbers. So in short will a clutch kit that's already available fit our cars??

That would be nice if it did.

Are you asking if for example an S2000 clutch kit would fit our cars since its also an Aisin tranny?

Interesting question, but if I had to guess I'd say no it won't just because if that was true, there would be no manufacturers developing kits for this car, just using what is already available.

so this spec clutch is part number SU332 I called spec they said its for a scion but didn't say which year or model of car which is weird he did give me a part number of the throw out bearing which Was No51 or NO51 and would not tell me the manufacturers name of that bearing.

I dont know anyone running a Spec clutch...

It is stupid that a Spec rep cannot tell you if that fits our car, or which specific one fits our car...

That's a plausible theory, but again I find it very hard to believe that a company would spend the R&D money developing a clutch kit for this car when a kit for another car was plug and play.
