FA20club CAI install

Ridding the engine bay of all this was so satisfying. The intake makes a great sound too. Like others have said, blows the sound tube away.

Install was pretty straight forward. I peeled the bumper back as described on this forum. Ill say do not let that portion of the install persuade you not to get this aftermarket part. Its easy and a non issue.

Do you feel any increase in HP or torque? What does the butt dyno say? :burnrubber:

Did your bumper go back on without any alignment issues? Anyone know if this intake works with innovate SC?

What do you think about this intake? I want to get this one in the near future, and seems like the best option out.

Bumper should go back into place, just got to make sure that you slowly put it back together and match everything up.

No it doesn't work with Innovate SC, the bends don't match the stock air box, but the Perrin one should go with the Innovate SC since it mates where the stock airbox is.

I really like the intake. I read a lot about the various styles and all the debates. In my eyes this is doing it right. It gives you a nice smooth flow of air and its drawing from as cool a place as any without major modifications (hood or wheel-well).

Bumper goes back on just fine.

I don't want to lie to fellow board members, the butt dyno didn't register much. I would subjectively say it pulls smoother above 5k and just a touch harder. I did bounce off the limiter a few times and I don't usually do that.

Did you notice if this whole system is lighter than the whole stock system? It looks like it would be, but then again, it's pretty hard to compete with plastic. I know the piping on my AEM CAI on my daily driver is magically light.

Are you tuned? I read that without being tuned intakes might not make any power and in one dyno actually lost power on the stock tune still (I am speaking of intakes in general) . I guess the factory system over compensates for the additional air comin in and dumps too much fuel causing them to run really rich? Thus the need for the tune. But after the tunes the gains looked really impressive and some I'm sure you'd be able to feel.

The fa20club is lighter. I dont have a scale or I would gladly weigh the stock parts for you.

I am not tuned
