KEG LYPH MAFYA flip keys for FRS
 

These guys are TOTALLY awesome. I made the STUPID mistake of shipping my keys to them from California via UPS which took more than one work week to reach them (I officially hate UPS now). After these guys received my keys, I receive a message from them that the key is in their possession, and they completed my key conversion on the same day!!

My key was mailed out the next day via USPS and they promptly give me a tracking number, so excellent customer service! :party0030:

I ordered one key in leather and one key in CF and I will post pictures and comment on the quality when I see them in person later this afternoon.

I need to take the dive on this as well, as the key is now the last thing that says "Scion" on/in my car. Well...that, and the stupid head unit.

Sadly I misplaced my Valet key, so I need to figure out some logistics first.

When I ship both my keys for the conversion, the valet key is the only thing I can use to access the car. I think you can order a valet key from your dealer for certain amount of money.

You can go to your local hardware store that does the keys with chips in them...Mine down the street has them for about around $80.

I only got one key from the dealer (+valet). They wanted like $85 for another. :thumbdown:

I had been there for ~3 hours AFTER signing the paperwork, and given that I don't let the missus drive my car, I didn't see a need to drag that process out further with haggling over a key. In hindsight, I should have, but oh well...

I have the exact key but without the leather

One thing is these guys don't make the key fobs they just swap the internals into the new key fob which is all I did after buying the key fob cases for 12 bucks (2nd one was for a dollar) and taking the 20 mins to transfer all the parts over using the DIY I found on this site

Any novice diyer can do this mod. its dead simple.

My last post about this got deleted so I hope I worded this one in a way that doesn';t offend anyone.

I got the CF version, there are 2 black button on top and bottom. top is for the trunk and bottom is for the panic.

The leather version had the 2 button too, but they are hide behind under the leather. trust me, they are there.

confirmed, I have the leather one (first one I requested in leather, second one will be CF). All buttons work.
