yeah 7.6 is not right. mid to high 6 at most.

It wasn't tested, so no no worries mate. I don't know what source give that time for the magazines, cos Toyota Europe says 6.9s to 0-100 km/h... But honestly i don't care about 0-100 km/h times.

Its 7.6 because of the shift at 59.5 which makes the time a bit slower

Hmmm so regarding this, I went back and looked at the calculated speeds based on gearing and tire diameter, and 7450rpm is barely over 60mph. I think they need to bang off the rev limiter.

Speedo are generally off by a bit and most 0-60 testing is done with GPS equipment. However I would like to see a video a cereal there says they might have to hit the limiter to get it all done in 2

Thank god it does. The 0-60 times will suck which means less "my mumz ess-yoo-vee haz a better 0-60!"-douchebags will buy the car. We can only hope...

It's not reckless if you only engage in behaviors that don't block traffic, of which there are plenty. In fact hypermiling tends to get you around town faster at legal speeds.

Yea, to people who take a quick look at like 5 numbers and decide that the car sucks.
