JDM Side Marker shape difference
 

Does anyone know why the JDM side marker has a protrusion on it when the USDM one doesn't?

It's just so you can see it a little from the front I think.

that's what I figure too...I like the shape, but I also like the orange we get..... what a dilemma! LOL

Get them! I just installed mine about a week ago and they look siiiiiick. I know what you are saying about how they poke out a little... dont worry about it because they look sweet

I like that they poke out...i just don't like the clear colour.....call me weird...hahah

In all honesty it's a cleaner look IMO with clear corners. I have them on my raven and love them.

I got the JDM side markers and I think they look awesome. I thought the orange called too much attention to something that shouldn't have it and with nothing else orange on the car.

It's up to you, but I recommend it!

i will have amber side markers lights available soon with the JDM style protrusion on it

this reminds me of when everyone wanted the amber corners on civics in the 90s.. seems this is the totally opposite direction. lol.

Very true. With my MR2's I preferred the amber markers over clear, to me it didn't look right. Over time the clear grew on me. I would have still preferred the euro that were clear with an amber section in the middle.

Over all, something about the amber markers on these cars looks off to me. Maybe it's because we all saw the JDM/EDM cars first with the clears and grew a liking to it. Plus with the Internet community growing exponentially since the 90's we see coverage first from the home land and it sparks our quest to be "more jdm".

Just got done putting them on my CBS and agree 100%. Looks much cleaner.
