Any knowledge out there on paint protector spray film??

Took my 1st road trip. Couldn't help be paranoid about fine chips. Looking for options for protection.

You'll find some good info on both in our Cosmetic Maintenance forum. I did Xpel on my full bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors on top of Opticoat already applied to the whole car.

Unfortunately I waited about 15k miles before doing this so I've locked in some ugly bits but at least prevented any additional damage.

As a bonus (to me probably equally as awesome) this makes the car incredibly easy to clean. You never need to apply wax.

I have Xpel and Opticoat on my entire car. If you're ever in Boston you're more than welcome to come check it out in person.

Also I highly recommend Rick @ Unique Car Care in Wakefield, MA as an installer. He is the best in Massachusetts and rated in the Top 9 in the US by Autoweek Magazine.

Tell him Trevor with the WRB BRZ sent you. Also you can get multiple recommendations for him from this forum. @2forme, @ngabdala and several others have had their car done by him.

I have RoadBlock (clear bra) and Opti-Coat, holding up well so far. I've noticed a lot of light scratches accumulating near the door handles, which makes
me wish I got clear vinyl cut for the inner portion behind the handles.

I have XPEL and Wolf's Hard Body.
