Rev Works or Borla headers??

Hey guys, I'm thinking of my next mod and I'm leaning towards some headers, but I can't decide between the Rev Works UEL and the Borla UEL. I've seen YouTube videos on the two but I'm not sold lol. I am new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's the difference between the two in regards to performance, cost efficiency, sound, or even if you recommend getting headers, period! Haha thanks!

Neither. Get a JDL UEL header with a better (lifetime) warranty and better collector than both RW and Borla. Your decision should really be between RW and JDL since the Borla headers are welded together by 5 year olds and have terrible quality control.

Borla was unable to deliver me a defect free header so I had to give up on them.

Three warranty replacements due to warped flanges is where I drew the line and spent my money elsewhere.

Glad I did since there have been weld failures and defects causing bad noises left and right

borla and revworks aren't in the same league. the borla is garbage. disgusting collector inside and out, China made quality. I got the revworks with a stock exhaust and no tune it makes a big difference. hand made and good quality

that's not even a competition, rev works all the way. quality is lightyears ahead of borla's chinese assembly line stuff. i'd pay 50% more for the rev works piece, but fortunately you don't have to as the price is very reasonable.

Go with revworks. Between them, the quality is vastly different. Welds are top notch with the revworks. My car made a big difference after tuning with the header. Sounds great too! Here's a vid of my Dyno with the revworks header.

Thanks guys. Lol looks like Borla is way out of the question. Any websites you recommend with reasonable prices?

After reading the JDL thread you referenced I think we have a new Unicorn part!!

If I had to choose between the two I'd say Revworks. A couple guys by me have them and they sound pretty good. Their customer service is good, which they had to use to get an issue fixed. Once I finally get my JDL UEL headers I'll be able to give an opinion on that as well. Although JDL only has one or two guys making about a hundred of them so it will be a while before people get them. They seem to be good guys but gave unrealistic release dates, which probably isn't all their fault. JDL looks the best out of those however.

Just placed an order at ft86 speed factory for a revworks header and o2 sensor. The next batch should be here in no later than 3 weeks according to jeremy. I snagged #8 of 10 so if you want one id snag it up quick. I chose revworks because the gains look good and I didnt want to drop a full G on a header.

if you research borla quality and on the basis of what you just heard here that should pretty much tell you.....get the rev works header.

I was gonna say this, if the OP decides to go with a RevWorks, he should act quick. I ordered mine 6 weeks ago, but hopefully they've partially caught up with the backorder and your header will arrive in 3 weeks. :)

Also thanks for the tip on the O2 spacer, I was gonna order from another place but saw that FT86SF just added them, so I had Jeremy add it to my order. OP - you're gonna want one of these as well if you don't get a tune right away.
