Steve Sutcliffe tests Fensport's Toyota GT86 Turbo, then drives the firm's bare-knuckle turbocharged race car. And pits it against a McLaren 12C to see how fast a GT86 can really go.

This was a fun video to watch!

It's amazing how much recognition and respect the 86 has received. Thanks for the share, it's awesome to see the AVO kit toe to toe with the best!

I don't know what's worse, excessive slides in every other corner or hysterical laughter of the driver.

That car was set up way too loose (is that element for show only?) & it needs bigger rims/tires. It would have been a good bit quicker like this.

The Fensport track car is set up for the Toyota Sprint Series, they may have some limitations on the amount of tire they can run. Add in that the driver of it may prefer to have the suspension dialed in a bit loose for his driving style.

If you were just looking at ultimate setup with no rules or regulations involved, it certainly could be specced and set up to go faster.
