Hey, that's enough out of you. Have to see if I even get the car in time really. Might be able to swing it. Stock is not a problem for me, just a matter of whether I want to waste a day running around in a lot or spend that time putting the parts back on the new car...1st world problems.

f0rge 08-30-2013 10:27 AM

I'm on stock brakes too right now. They're more than good enough for auto-x, you don't get enough heat in them in 60 seconds to start fading.

aghuman 08-30-2013 01:43 PM

Can people just come to watch kind of thing? Im interested in seeing how it is for once beofre actually doing it. Just wondering if you have to pay at the entrance of the lot or actually just for registration to race when you actually get in there.

colHolm 08-30-2013 01:51 PM

It's free to watch, but only $40 to drive... and you get lunch! You'll learn more by doing.

7thgear 09-05-2013 05:12 PM

prolly gonna make this one... they owe me a t-shirt, LOL.

l8apexr 09-05-2013 10:03 PM

Gonna come to this one.

Time to slap on some R-comps!!!

I'll post up some vids of my fastest run later today. Does anyone have a link to where the results will be posted?

Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4

7thgear 09-09-2013 10:17 AM

results will be posted on PITL's website once they are double checked and finalized.

http://www.wiredmotorsports.com/pitl/results.php

you may also keep tabs on the CASC-OR's autocross section, where PITL members typically hang out.

http://www.casc.on.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21

and of course, if either Brian (engsr) or myself (Serge) post em up here.

good work everyone on coming out! Great to see so many FRS/BRZ's finally making the transition from hard parking to hard driving.

my final time was 62.1 completly stock (including original tires from last June), I was the "dented" white FRS with "mobil 1" plate covers.

and an unofficial 61.4.. but 2 junk cones didn't make it happen.

really hoping the wife gets a job before next summer so i can finally get some tires on this thing.

engsr 09-09-2013 10:18 AM

^ Nice to meet you yesterday, Kenny. The results will be posted on http://www.wiredmotorsports.com/pitl/index.php probably within a week or so. I didn't look at all the results but some guys in A said you took the class.

UMB FR-S 09-09-2013 10:26 AM

Good stuff I finished with a 58.9 I believe and left after 4 runs as I had to make the driver back to Ottawa. I was hoping my time would hold up haha

It most definitely did! Your only mods are tires? Great driving.

UMB FR-S 09-09-2013 10:33 AM

I have 17*8 kosei rims with 245 bfg rivals on them. Hp+/hps front/rear pads with fluid, exhaust and short shifter.

Hmmm, time to get 245 BFG Rivals and HP+ pads! I was in the WRB BRZ trying to figure out how to catch up to this new Kenny guy!

I was discussing brakes with 7thgear and it seems like the stock pads are lacking a bit...but I dont want to deal with the Hawk death squeal....

245s, eh? Do you have any pictures of how the tire fits on the rim? I'm just curious to see how square/pinched they could be. I would have liked to see in person but I was stuck at timing for most of the day so I didn't get a chance to wander around.

By the way, your time is really good considering you were only ~2 seconds off overall FTD. Some of us believe on our lot a properly set-up FRS/BRZ could easily contend for overall.
