BRZ Shifter Rattle TSB
 

Hey everyone, @Getagrip mentioned TSB 03-71-13 (dated July 1, 2013) which according to techinfo.subaru is "6MT Shifter Rattle and Improvement to Reverse Pull Collar Operation". Anyway, I called my dealer today and asked them what the TSB would be doing exactly, since IIRC, the Scion TSB regarding the shifter rattle was just a replacement knob (please correct me if I'm wrong)? In any case, the service guy said it was to replace the shift lever and some bushings.

So, has anyone had this TSB done yet? I've installed the Kartboy Short Shifter and still have the rattle so I feel like the issue is with the knob. Yet Subaru wants to swap out the lever? Thoughts?

Ironic that that thread was in my 'recently closed' window. I didn't see any mention of the TSB so I disregarded it without taking note of the thread date (was posted after TSB became available). Thanks for pointing it out. Now how do I go about locking this thread?

EDIT: Oh also note that those are FRS and not subject to the same TSB as ours, or at least this TSB as far as I'm concerned.
