You'd rather stay at home looking at all the forum threads/news/etc just for new info.

You are #1 on a pre-order waiting list, not knowing the actual price yet.

You buy one without actual looking or driving the car in person.

You know you want a BRZ but don't own one when... you post off-topic stuff in the main BRZ forum. :P

When the salesman hands you the keys and you pay for TT&L?

You know you own a BRZ when you buy a car for its great driving feel and handling ability, without ever driving it.

You know you own a BRZ when your car is all about actual driving enjoyment and not HYPE from a bunch of performance numbers.

You know you own a BRZ when the manufacturer's specified competitor cars aren't real competitors because your car is "in a league of its own"

When i Ring the bell!! and they say "enjoy your new ride"

I'll know I own a BRZ when all the damned SUVs and picks-ups around here look like freaking single family homes rolling down the street!!

When people with Mustangs and Genesis coupes laugh at you because your car "only has 200hp" and you laugh right back because their cars don't provide one tenth the driving enjoyment your BRZ gives you!

When comments on blog posts about the BRZ/FR-S have caused you to lose faith in humanity

When the words Turbo or AWD now cause your eye to twitch

When you check Subaru.com for updates every day, just in case

When you have been to so many Japanese websites you are starting to understand it a little

As a Miata owner, I'm quite familiar with this.

For the first couple of months, I'm looking forward to getting swarmed at Miata events, car shows, and autocrosses with the BRZ.

You know you own a BRZ when everyone asks if you're driving the FRS..

You know you own a BRZ when you're having the time of your life behind the wheel and you know your pockets haven't been completely emptied.

You know you own a BRZ when people at night drive behind you and mistake your car for a Ferrari.
