I've seen VW producing the same OEM wheel model with both BBS and Ronal (the stock 17" and 18" Mk5 GTI wheels), the weight and construction came out different (BBS heavier by 2 to 4 lbs and Ronals don't bend as easy so go figure), but the face looking identical.

I have my doubts because I still cannot find live pictures of the BRZ tS shocks and wheels. I guess we'll know about the shocks soon since DSOMegaX ordered them. It'll be funny if they turn out to be KYB. :D :D

Example of STI Performance parts for the WRX STI:

Silver shock body no mentioning of maker:
http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/impreza_gr/spp7.html

Yellow shock body mentioning Bilstein:
http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/im...0ZR020XXX.html

BBS wheels with BBS logo molded onto rim:
http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/im...81004S100.html
http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/im...81004S170.html

Nothing wrong with Enkei or KYB. It's like a Grand Seiko vs Rolex or Sony ES vs Philips/Marantz type of thing. GO JDM!!! :D

I think theyre still 15mm. Looking at the pictures of the tS it doesn't look any lower than my car

CV joints dude I think that's why 15mm.

If you read back enuf history it seems all the STI complete cars are just 15mm drop.

The RA Racing Limited Edition springs and shocks don't look too low either, more expensive than tS springs and shocks and pretty much the same wheel gap.

I did it....ordered the pin stripe in dark gray. Going to look great on SWP. Just weeks away from installing everything! Ordered some anthracite carbon 3m vinyl for the dash since there is not LHD dash release for the tS. The color is almost spot on. Also bought some new nike's to drive in haha.

Suspension geometry, strut travel, etc. Lots of engineering reasons you don't want to lower the car any more than that.

Have there been any deliveries of the lip parts from a US dealer yet?
