Not too hard. 1st door was trying to be careful. Second door I lined with a strip of tape across and went much quicker...

It really isn't too bad after you see how much the set goes for with the WRX STI.

Have we confirmed that these are Bilstein for the BRZ, though?

No that's for the last WRX STI. Just drawing comparison in terms of pricing between WRX STI and BRZ parts off the STI performance catalog. BRZ stuff is already a bit cheaper. ;)

I start to doubt those are Bilstein, could be Sachs (cuz of the shock body paint finish and spring seat). I also start to doubt those are BBS wheels, could be Enkei (no BBS marking molded on the rim). Someone please buy them to prove me wrong. :D :D

Wrong also . Despite the same appearance, the ones off the actual tS car are BBS while the ones off the accessories catalog are Enkeis. It's been reported by numerous articles, including reviews of the car, that the wheels on the BRZ tS are BBS and the dampers are Bilsteins. Given past tS cars also use BBS and Bilsteins, I'd say its a very safe bet that the actual BRZ tS is equipped with them.

When the information comes from multiple legitimate sources on a released car, I don't think there's much reason to doubt it. So no, I don't have a picture, but I will be in Japan later this year so I can see if I can look at it in person.

Your first message to me took me a while to finally appear in my inbox because it was full. Either way, I have been extremely busy at work, and my attentions are elsewhere. I admit that's my fault, and I try to keep up with responding to the best I can, but I am often distracted by circumstances and many times even when typing a message I step away and end up closing the window (most times I'm on FT86 is at work as a quick break). Finally, I use tapatalk more often than a main computer when on forums, so message notifications don't pop for me. So yes, I apologize that I didn't respond to you, but when you had to come in and complain publicly that you didn't get spoon-fed information that was already available, I saw no reason to warrant you the response anymore.

But if you'd still like the answer: here it goes, the main difference in the STi exhaust is the dual muffler design, slightly larger tips, and more angled slash cuts (which there are plenty of pictures of and just take the simple use of the search tool and you know, your eyes). As for sound, again, plenty of videos floating all over of both systems. It's hard for me to provide, because having an accurate determination of the differences between both systems are masked by video and sound quality, driving conditions, environment, etc. In other words, unless you're there in person listening to it, it will never be accurate. That's why I never post exhaust clips because frankly, it doesn't sound the same under recorded conditions than in person (my friends will testify to that as well).

It's all good. It's my fault as well and again, I apologize. Let's just go ahead and move on...and get back to talking about tS parts and spending money (wallet cry)!!! :D

Can anyone enlighten me as to why they would use 2 different manufacturers to produce the same wheel?
Makes absolutely no sense to me from a production stand point.
