Japanparts…..is more close to a finance company!! Monthly and monthly add-on payments!!! L
A future JV with Barclays Bank ahahahahahahahha?
So, my todo checklist:
#ts meter
#f/r struts and springs
(I will wait for tS anti-roll)
Steering bush done, on run

Only tS spoiler is out of my thoughts….(illegal in Italy for road use)

So, it’s true.
If meter is “never installed”, it’s autopairing with ECM radiocode.
You can install BUT if not set alignment, your mileage start up at Zero kms.
To align mileage you need SSMIII tools (official dealer), therefore you must follow pairing procedure.
A big issue is for who hasn’t keyless smart entry system thus tS is only with this feature. Here in Europe with great luck, all grade of BRZ are “HIGH”, so we haven’t classic key and no troubles or issues to pairing.

The STI springs that you've been able to order are for the stock struts. If you get different struts, like the STI struts, then you'll need different springs, like the STI springs that go with the STI struts.

After shipping, as of today it's $2,020.20. Odd (even), yet cool number.

How come the rears don't show up when searching for "Subaru - BRZ - STI"? That's happened with a lot of parts before and mostly the tS parts.

I think its just inconsistency on how they categorize the parts. Usually searching both Subaru and STi let's you find all of them

I've always searched that way, but if I take out "STI" and do a search word for "tS" then they pop up. Maddening.

I just threw in everything that I wanted in my cart and tallied with shipping. Basically $4,500 for the rest of what I'd need from Japanparts for STI parts. I'll probably have it finished by late Fall.

I was considering Bilstein coil overs for $900, but now that I see the STI strut and shock set is there and I'm enjoying my stock ride height with these 18" wheels on 245/40R18 tires, I'm thinking I don't need that dramatic of a drop. Alaska can't handle dat low low doe. I just want more specs on the STI struts.

It really isn't too bad after you see how much the set goes for with the WRX STI.

I don't feel any difference in throttle response with the new STI air filter (my stock one was quite dirty with leaves and bugs). The only time I can sense a difference in throttle response (albeit very slight change) was when I replaced the stock muffler with the STI Sports Muffler @ 4000km.

Trap should have crossed out "Made in China" on the STI air filter instead. :D

EDIT: Oh I see what you mean now "Made in China -> Lost 50HP" ROFL!!
