Just got the tS sound tube recently, so here is my review. It basically takes away the high pitch noise on the stock tube but adds up on the growling (I really like how it growls now). So not only it sounds better under gas, its also quieter under normal highway cruise. Driving above 75 mile no longer gives me a headache. Funny how It's not so much different from stock but yet so much better.

Are they still only available through J parts?

I think so https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/45064

I brought them off Khazzy thou. Hunting for that Flex strut bar & Sports muffler now haha.

By the way mind if i ask if you still have ur STI spring? How are they compare to stock? Wonder if I should get them or save more for the new yellow blistein/sti spring kit. Looking for a more balanced type feel since I daily my car.

Save for the STI Blistein set cuz the short stroke of the stock dampers get pretty annoying on bumpy roads. The STI springs give u better rotation.

Speaking of those Bilsteins, anyone knows the difference between the STI-stickered ones and regular B6s or B8s?
Getting the springs from the STI set and "normal" Bilsteins B-smth would be a lot more cost efficient for folks outside Japan.

They are not. The tS came out in 2014 so it uses the older wrb shade

I figured, but worth a shot. Is there any way to get the right shade of this STI fender garnish? I think it would go well with all the other STI parts that the Series.Blue came with.

Repaint or wrap? This part is tied to the tS and was not released as part of the sti performance catalog so you won't see it in that shade of wrb

no, it doesn't . It is 02C not MY2015 WRB.

chanomatik 12-22-2014 01:51 PM

Dang, that is a hot idea though! I hadn't thought of the fender garnish for Series.Blue BRZ's. Also I think the whites are different too? Satin White Pearl for MY2014 and then Crystal White Pearl for MY2015?

Has anyone already tried the STI ts bolt? Could you share your driving
experience and will that increase the NVH?

Actually, I am not sure how many new bolt STI ts has.
I tried to Google it.
It looks like total need 4 bolts (2 kinds) and 4 nuts (2 kinds)
Where can I buy them ( I am not sure how to find on JDMparts. com)
Thanks.
