Haven't we discussed here already about the drive shaft being beefed up over the current one, and people were complaining about why you'd beef up the drive shaft, but keep power output the same? I always postulated it was to ensure it could take track abuse. Most of these parts have that as their justification, sacrificing daily driver practicality for parts that are noisier, but more robust, possibly heavier.

HI,

I am interested in STI fender garnish (The middle one in the picture as below).

However, I prefer the chrome fender trim instead of the silver which
same as USDM BRZ chrome fender trim. ((The left one in the picture as below), but keep the STI logo on the trim.

Any good suggestion for this or any recommend shop which can help me
this?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, get a sticker and put it on the chrome. Or paint Sti one with chrome paint...

I'd do a chrome vinyl wrap over the STI fender garnish and cut out around the "STI" logo.

tS armrest for doors available!
https://www.japanparts.com/images/im...b.php?no=49913

$62.00 each, have to choose RH and LH.

I'm having difficulty figuring out what this tS part is:

94213 is the upper padding for the door. I think they have an alcantara covered version, but I'm not sure which one it is.

94499 is the part I was questioning.

Oh, your link was to the upper padding.

94499 is a 25m roll of tape.

chanomatik 10-22-2014 03:17 AM

The diagram highlights a part number, which you now revealed as the tape. Thank you!

The armrest was a separate picture and comment.

The upper padding is separate from the arm rest. The japanparts 45802 link you posted was for the upper padding, not the arm rest. There's the standard pleather upper pads that usdm cars have, but the ts has the alcantara upper pads I think? I wanted to get both the arm rest and upper pads in alcantara, but was having problems determining the correct part number.

Oooh. Okay Yeah. You be correct. I didn't post the armrest link. Was mostly curious about what the other parts were referring to.

Just got the tS sound tube recently, so here is my review. It basically takes away the high pitch noise on the stock tube but adds up on the growling (I really like how it growls now). So not only it sounds better under gas, its also quieter under normal highway cruise. Driving above 75 mile no longer gives me a headache. Funny how It's not so much different from stock but yet so much better.

Glad you liked it! I liked it a lot and couldn't agree more. Enjoy it
