TOM'S Armrest

Here are some interior pictures of the TOM'S armrest. It is unbelievably solid and well made. It has become a natural addition to the interior and looks pretty good too. I took it out for one day and something just felt so wrong! Thank you @468Power !
Enjoy!

Not sure how I feel about the light gray mesh showing. Is that supposed to be removed or be showing like that?

Otherwise pretty damn sweet.

I'm sure they put that part to make it more stable in the cup holders. It's a foam like material and its blocked from view by the actual arm rest when seated.

Makes sense.

thats really nice man! I cant wait to get mine! I saw one at 86fest and the thing is super solid, it doesnt look as heavy duty as it feels. the only downside the price. $320, but thats TOM'S for you, I tried to buy the one there that the vendor had, but he already sold it. so it was just a tease lol

How does it hold up if you put the cup holder further back in the console? Does it fall forward or does it stay standing? Looks awesome btw! I love TOM's stuff!

I just wish we had something like the RX8 (Slide + flip):

http://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/ma...r_ei_1_500.jpg

This car has a real lack of departments (this being my on pet peeve). Both previous cars (RX8 and WRX) had ample, especially for coin. It would be great if someone came out with a sliding cover. That way l could retain the cup holders when l needed them (Something the OEM cover doesn't do l believe, as it looks like the cover would get in the way of gear shifts).

$300+ and one would have to see that cheesy foam?

Unreal...

For that price I'd take the OEM armrest every time, though this does have the one advantage of being removable and not requiring any modification to the car.

$300? Wow What a big markup!

I guess you pay for the brand huh?

Especially considering it's not even a fully functional armrest ??

I like Tom's and it does look well built, but your definitely paying for the name here...
