Gran Turismo 6 GT86

Gran Turismo 6 will be offering the GT86 as one of the 25 pre sale vehicles...Just thought it was exciting that our car was special enough to be one of the 25 which are mostly exotics

cfusionpm 08-23-2013 05:39 PM

You mean it's not a standard car in the game? GT5 and Forza have had it for a while. Or is it just the same car with an ugly "exclusive" paint job?

CAMBAM_6 08-23-2013 05:43 PM

Ofcourse it will be, you realize how popular the car is in Japan..Its also available as a lightly tuned (i think) presale car along with 25 other cars

Are those painted stock rims?

ihaskrayon 08-23-2013 05:49 PM

I bet they have the FR-S as the normal car, but the GT86 as the "special"

Well, the FR-S, BRZ, and GT86 are all in GT5 already, so I guarantee you they will still have them in GT6.

The car you see in the OP is just a special edition incentive for pre-ordering the game.

Thats what i was trying to say...guess i should have been more clear..lol..all versions most likely will be available as regular cars you can buy in the game

I pre-ordered on Amazon, you get 1 million free CRs + 5 anniversary cars instead of just the 25 cars. I figured, with that many credits I can buy as many 86s as I need!

Shinryu 08-23-2013 06:39 PM

I'm probably alone in this, but I get kinda annoyed when people refer to the Japanese model as a GT86; it's just called an 86 in Japan. I realize that with the equivalent trim level it is an 86 GT, but still...

I'd rather have the bigger list of anniversary cars; you can always make more credits, but the cars will be a missed opportunity.

Just FYI (to everyone else): you get those five cars when you preorder from anywhere. The 1 million credits are an Amazon thing, and the extra 20 cars are a Gamestop thing.

I'd rather have the Gamestop offer though. If the average price of those 20 cars is over $50,000 (and I'm sure it is, only a few cars like the 86 and Focus are cheap cars), that's easily a million credits worth of cars.

that's true- I didn't look too closely at the list of cars, but I'm sure the value is well over 1 mil CRs. part of it was just being lazy as well... maybe you've convinced me to switch my preorder!

Why does the badge say GT86 then?

that badge is not on the Japanese 86, only other countries where the car is called the GT86 like the UK.
