Anyone know of a good glass place I can go to get it filled in the Richmond or Newport News area?

Better at 20k than at 14k, freaking sucks lol. Good luck on finding a place around your area.

Usually insurance companies offer a free windshield repair. Or try and find a safelight auto glass near your area. GL

Alternatively, you could try to do it yourself.

I got one of those myself a while back. It's a bit smaller and on the pass. side, so I haven't had it fixed.
Those straight-line cracks leading away from the impact point make this one look like it could run across the windshield. Definitely worth fixing now. And to answer your question, I used Safelite last time I had a chip fixed, although they didn't do a great job. At least they'll come to you! GL.

I took my Accord to Safelite in Hampton, VA. The glass they used isn't OEM and has a wave in it. I'd probably not go back.

When I had to replace my windshield twice I used safelight and requested that they use OEM windshield because insurance was paying. They did a great job to me, twice.

@makalaka

Just buy a windshield repair kit from auto parts store. I fixed mine and other cracks. Direction can be a bit confusing, but it gets the job done.
