Toms tail lights with Valenti bumper reverse light?
 

I'm planning to pair the Toms tails with the (red/chrome) Valenti bumper reverse light. Has anyone tried this? My only concern is that the v-shaped bar on the Valenti might not match the Toms too well. Thoughts?

Not sure, but I'm going to find out. Have the Tom's tails, just ordered the smoked Valenti reverse lights - I'll take some pics for you once I get them installed.

Is the install easy?

I'm sure the Valenti's "V" lights would compliment the Tom's boomerang light shape well but my concern would be the housing look (LEDs and housing showing through have more of a Euro tuner effect versus the Tom's more OEM simplistic look) and the Valenti's red plastic is lighter than the dark Tom's housing.

This is assuming you're opting for the red/chrome combo. IMHO, the two style housings are slightly off in terms of style matching but that's just me. The smoke or full clear Valenti housings would make the distinction even more pronounced. Maybe the clear USDM Tom's housings might match better.

I will be going ahead with the Toms paired with the Valenti bumper light some time soon. I'll post pics. I should get my Toms this week and then I need to figure out the wiring.

Toms taillights and Valenti bumper light installed. I think they actually look pretty nice together. I'll take some more/better pics soon:

i've got the tom's tails as well and got these on order. went with the red on chrome to match the tails.

I haven't really taken good pics of the combo as promised. I don't think you'll be disappointed though...IMO they work really well together. Here's one pic from a recent meet:

They match nicely with the lights off. They also look nice together lit...I think the Valenti vbar is slightly more red than the color of the Toms boomerang, but it's super close and no one except me seems to notice heh. Overall, I'm really liking the combo. :thumbsup:

It looks OK in the night picture above but I am super OCD about these things ... How far off is it from the TOMs bar? Noticeably different to a following motorist? :thanks:

I just saw his set-up at the meet and I can tell you most people will be non the wiser.

Did you guys wire up the F1?

If not, did you still have to de-pin the blue wire?

I just installed it and its not on. Thought I would need to de-pin, but man, I can't get that blue wire to de-pin and come out!
