LPI Racing GB on Brake Pads

** I'm not affiliated with LPI. They are a local shop providing race/street parts/accessories for cars. I'm just a local enthusiast providing support to a local shop. Any purchases and experiences I have with them, I'd like other local enthusiasts to know also. **

LPI Racing is providing 86drive.com members and others a break on brake pads. The four different brake pads below are just a sample what they sell so make sure you check them out. With the variety of brake pads available in the market, LPI and I discussed what most other local users/racers are buying. We talked more than just brake pads so future GBs on consumable items will be good. LPI is looking for 3 or more buyers of the each pad below to get the GB pricing.

PM me for GB pricing!

With LPI Racing, use 86drive.com as your referral and see what help they will give you.

Track: Raybestos ST43 Race pads only. Extremely high bite, and high friction. Used by NASCAR, and a lot of racing teams no matter who they are sponsored by. Raybestos race pad compounds including ST-41, 42, 45, 47 and ST-43. LPI Racing uses Raybestos ST41 front brake pads and Raybestos ST45 rear brake pads on our ITE RX7. Our Club race cars currently run the ST-43 compound.

Track: Hawk DTC60 - High Torque. Excellent Torque Control. Similar to HT10's, but easier to bed. Good pad for the rear with DTC70 up front.

Street: Hawk HP Plus - Good for autocross and light track duty. Hawk Performance's HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads.

Street: Porterfield R4-S High Performance Street and Autocross
Possibly the BEST STREET BRAKE PAD EVER? For high performance and heavy-duty street conditions. The R4-S friction level will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum pedal effort. R4-S compound has noise and dust levels far below OEM equipment or any other high performance brake material. Good for autocrossing, rallies and for your tow vehicle or SUV.

Lame... how come you come along with a group buy AFTER I bought my brake pads :mad0259::mad0260::lol:I've actually gotten the Raybestos but have not installed them yet, gonna try the car all stock first and try out the new pads on my second track event (LS in Nov. with you guys!).

Working with LPI (Monty) was great, definitely recommend them.

^^ I wasn't in need of new pads until my first service when the service mgm'er curiously asked about my pads and tires. I guess I break harder than others he's seen with less miles haha. AND yes, Nov track. I'm also inclined to get another track time before Nov. SO, Monty and I discussed it.
