Installing clear Rear bumper applique

After a slight trunk repair I need to install a replacement rear bumper appliqué. Does anyone know if I have to do anything other than washing, claying, pealing off the backing and sticking it on?

I just picked up one also, and my body shop repair guy told me it was a bitch to install.
