i was under that assumption too but im sure there will be room to haggle depending on the dealer and how bad they want to move their 13s when 14s start coming in... im actually surprised that they are offering discounts now when 14s havent even been announced yet?

I have seen dealerships near me have different pricing on FR-S models that have the exact same features. Pure Pricing = pure BS.

Even though they say there is no haggling, it can't hurt to try.

I just google a bunch of zip code from San Diego area. After trying a coupe of them via Truecars.com the zip code from
Alpine 91901 - $1k off msrp
Del Mar 92014 - $1k off msrp
Spring Valley 91976 - $1k off msrp
p.s I'm looking for one too :D

Toyota Of Poway - ask for Frank or Tony.

I live down in Imperial Beach - it was worth the 60+mile round trip. Scion Dealerships near my home told me "no haggle." So either they don't because they sell so many or, they don't sell enough to get preferred pricing from the factory.

The haggle is happening because it has a TRD spoiler and exhaust so that's the wiggle room. Pure Price really means the price they put on the sticker is the price on the contract, they can put anything they want on the sticker (including a $4,000 nav system in my experience) but there's an implicit rule that they don't add a "market adjustment" markup for no reason other than to gouge the customer.

Personally, $1500 off the TRUE msrp ($25,255-$1,500) is a great deal, don't pass it up, the '14s aren't going to be worth the price hike, especially if car touch screens annoy you. I don't care for spoiler and exhaust, after looking up the prices you're basically getting the aftermarket stuff for free, I'd still prefer a car without them even for the same price.

I'd highly advise focusing on the out the door price as compared to the value off of the 'MSRP'.

I ended up getting my Raven FR-S 6MT for $26,831.19 out the door (including some options that were thrown in for free, Lojack and a Ding Protection warranty for 1 year). I'm in the Southeast so I don't know if you can really compare with the Southwest, it's definitely a different market. But the point that I'm getting at is that I essentially got the car for about $25669.19 out the door (I paid $1162 extra so that i could have ding protection for a year and also for LoJack w/ Early Warning, definitely worth it as I'm notified if my car is moved without my keys within 5 minutes via phone, e-mail, and text). That's considerably lower than the MSRP listed on some of the FR-S at various dealers. However, dealers will often charge more for document preparation, registration transfer, dealer fees, etc to make up for the discount on the car's price. It's just important to not get sucked into looking for a low MSRP because you may end up paying more in the end if you do so. I lucked out that I bought mine at the end of the month, I got window tint, mud flaps, LED DRLs, and paint and interior protectant all included.

Yep. I can attest to that. Just bought one of them. 6-speed red FRS is now mine. I bought it for 24,000 but it had the bumper applique on it so it was a little more than the stock ones which were going for 23,715
