If I remember correctly, the Mini Cooper, White was the only color that wasn't charged $300 extra.

White on black implies a overall black scheme with white touch. Black on white implies a overall white scheme with a black touch.;)

That simply means you need to use more vinyl. Don't be a quitter, brah.

When I was shopping for a Suzuki SX4 last year, all colors except red had a $130 premium. Right now on their website all colors except white have a $130 premium. So even budget cars have a premium on paints (which in this case I'm guessing it's based on colors that are not in surplus).

I just got back from the NY auto show and the Scion rep told me they don't charge extra for any color except the white color for the IQ. I asked whether she was sure there is no extra charge for Whiteout for the FR-S and she said no extra charge. Of course she can be wrong though.

You're willing to spend $25k on a car but $200 extra for pearl irritates you? Sorry, but that's just funny. :bellyroll:

Definitely an extra charge in Canada, just ordered one today and it's right there on the BoS.

It was confirmed by others at the First 86 trip in Long Beach that Whiteout would cost extra. They also said it would be a 4-stage paint process.

Interested in that paint process. As opposed to what - a 2-stage procedure of enamel or metallic spray followed by a clearcoat? What are the extra steps?
