I think too many people have time to post un-necessary and irrelevant replies. Guess too much time on hand and not much to do.

It seems to me that we as a society have come so far that many people expect so much. It's almost to the point of entitlement. In the US, they expect to be able to live under this blanket of security and freedom and most people have no idea what type of sacrifices are made to have that. They just go able their day bitching about the most trivial things, I find it sad. Be grateful your not in Thailand were the car is $80,000 USD, or that buying one is even an option. Millions of people over the last 4 years have lost everything on the American dream. People with MBA's that can't find jobs. Be grateful for every little thing people, it may not be there tomorrow.

Pearl/metallic - you either love it or hate it. I was told Whiteout was NOT going to be a pearl/metallic. However, I trust the dealership only as far as I can see them.

It would be a deal breaker for me as well. Time to choose another color...

I dont see a metallic\Perl option on the website. Personally i love the Starfire Pearl on the Lexus. I however do not see that as an option in the curent lineup for the FR-S available in the US. And the dealer i spoke to does not know.
The TRD version that we see looks like a Peal white.

Is the option of a Pearl mere speculation? I dont mind paying extra for Pearl.
But if the nickle and dime 200$ for a regular white...i would pay!!!...but i will not like it.

It isn't as bad as the charge the European makers tag on to their paint $600-$1000. BMW charges for every color besides basic black and white. The funny thing about it is I could understand if BMW wasn't a "luxury" automaker then it would make sense. But Scion is not luxury so they can get away with only $200 IMO.

But again, eurpoeans charge for metallic\premium paint options. Whiteout is not metallic\premium. Not atelast from the pictures. Does the finish of Whiteout differ from the rest of the paint options?
