so what do these adustable seats offer that the stock one doesnt? there really isnt much wrong with the stock seats except they are probably heavy because of the airbag and jazz right? if you want a race car just buy some $300 aluminum racing seats from ultrashield or the like. they are probably lighter than any of the seats listed here but they wont make you miss a mortgage payment.

Anything cheap that can let me seat a little lower than the stock seat.

With a helmet on, I can't really tilt my head since it's too close to the ceiling.

Don't really care how pretty it is.

Bumping an old thread. For those running Recaro seats, what bracket/slider are you using? I'm thinking of swapping my Recaro SPG in for auto-x events and track days, then swapping the stock seat back in for daily duty. I'm 6' 2" so the lower I sit the better.

not Recaros but I totally get the TRD ones if I feel like blowing a massive chunk of money away http://www.86worx.com/trd-full-bucket-seat.html

I've opted for these. So comfortable with mountains of support on the track

I'm 6'1" but only 13 stone

The circuit II is wider than the circuit I and they even do a circuit III for the *ahem* larger gentlemen

I'm 6'4" and with a helmet on I cannot sit up straight in the drivers seat. Additionally, I'm a tad wide for the stock seats, I can make it work but I'd be more comfortable in something larger, lower, and preferably with an adjustable back.

I'm looking for a touring seat over a straight track day one, thoughts?

why? 09-13-2018 09:00 PM

is there one that is fully carbon fiber that is race approved and weighs 1 lb? I'll take that one.
