I'm looking for some ideas of possibly swapping my HU, and I just wanted to get everyone elses' opinions and see what everyone else has.

I have the parrot asteroid smart, absolutely love it, I'll post up some pics later tonight after I get off work. :thumbsup:

how is the gps, does it take long to lock?

also were you able to use te stock microphone?

How's the glare?

The GPS app that comes with it takes a little bit to load, but once it does it's pretty fast. I have had a couple issues where i have been trying to find a building that isn't a house and it will actually take me to a house instead.
If you get one, just make sure that it comes with the SD card for the GPS otherwise it will not work. I have yet to install any other apps, i'll be taking a look at those probably tomorrow to see what other GPS apps are available.

I have not tried using the stock microphone, i had it installed and they ended up using the microphone that came with the HU.

I have not had any issues with glare at all. It stays really clear and visible, you can also adjust the brightness to reduce glare if you find that it becomes a problem.
