Switching the Turns and the DRLs, possible, or just too dang hard?

So I was staring at the front end of my BRZ today and couldn't help but notice how cluttered the whole front end looks having all those damn lights. I've been wanting to get rid of the Foglights and put in the Premium bezel inserts, but I thought of an idea for the rest of everything, not only because I wanted to get rid of my foglights, but because I thought the front end could look a lot better doing this:

-Replace the LEDs in the DRLs with amber colored LEDs, and switch the wiring from the turn signals to the DRLs, now making the DRLs function as turn signals.

-Replace the now empty turn signal area with some sort of bright white LEDs to use as a form of DRL that I can turn on and off using the Foglight switch.

-The DRLs would no longer exist

-The Boomerang can now be on by itself

-I think it would look badass.

What are your guy's thoughts regarding this issue? Hyperblink? CELs?

That would work. I think if you switch out the relay for the turn signals, you shouldn't have an issue with hyperblink.

Do the DRLs exist in other markets, or are they North America only?

Have fun desoldering/soldering new LEDs and resistors and having them be reliable in the DRLs. I think a better idea would be to just cover them in LaminX or some other colored vinyl.

Everything else is just a matter of rewiring some things. Not too difficult, but certainly not for a novice, either.
