FWIW, the Corolla WRC really works for me - if I'm not mistaken, it came to the market with the bugeye look before the Impreza WRX did (which, frankly, I liked more than subsequent headlamp designs - function > form)

Someone needs to put the Castrol livery on an FR-S. Would look fantastic.

No, it isn't. Toyota was rallying when we weren't even born yet. So they are coming back for their roots. Toyota belongs to rally! I was so proud when i was a young boy and finnish drivers wins races (and championships) with beautiful Celica..

This is cool and all, looking forward to seeing the two in action on the 'ring, but what happened to the whole "rally" part? Where's the dirt/gravel? I know Rally Japan is mostly a tarmac rally, but I believe they also have some gravel stages. Here's hoping we start seeing some dirt/gravel testing.

Gazoo desperately needs a new paint/vinyl designer, that color combo is a big fail and the pattern is hardly attractive either.

^ From the photos above that paint colour looks more like rust than red. Not a fan of all that black either, or the design. Maybe it's a cultural thing, I don't think any NA or Euro-based team would do their paint this way. Come to think of it, it does look vaguely anime/manga-ish.
